I couldn't agree more with your comments:

Missling has said when he wants to negotiate a deal with BP, not until he has an approval. That is maximizing the value of the drug.

I don't like seeing the share price drop just like most people here. It is annoying. In the long term it is meaningless. Unless you are a trader of course and even then this drop represents an opportunity.

I have been buying some longer term options at pretty good prices.

I added long stock at these levels and in a way I'm replacing shares lost back in 2021. As some long term names here may remember, I had a huge chunk of ~$2.50 cost basis shares called away at $7.50 at the start of the 2021 biotech bull run. If I play around with options it will be to sell some cash secured puts versus placing limit orders. I'm able to remain so bullish because I continue to hold low cost basis shares and I've booked profits along the way, forced...but profitable nonetheless.

Rett syndrome has always been expected to be the first approval and further proof of the S1R mechanism of action. Exactly when a deal is negotiated with a larger cash rich company for large AD/PD/PDD trials is anyone's guess. One of the guesses.
I agree with for AD/PD/PDD trials is that current developments will lead to a LARGE precision medicine driven trial and in partnership with a larger firm. The rare disease franchise will remain "in house".
