Back then in 2015 the 2 year window was a plausible time frame because the trial results were going to be so staggering that we were going to get Fast Track designation, Break Through Designation, and/or Accelerated Approval designation. Families and caregivers were going to be petitioning Congress & the FDA for our miracle drug. None of this has transpired, and here we are 8 years later.

I think many of us 8 years ago thought we’d be further along by 2023 than we are. I have never been a strong supporter of Missling’s (lack of) leadership and communication ability, and this morning’s PR did nothing to dispel this sentiment.

I do hope that this year’s Annual Meeting is in person. I will be present if it is, and will express my frustration with Senior Management and their many shortcomings. They probably won’t give a damn about how my 25K shares feel, but I’ll feel better having done it anyway.
