Just As Expected Blarcamesene Fails Again

All efficacy endpoints, which includes the MDS-UPDRS Part II + III and Clinical Global Impression - Improvement (CGI-I) measured at the end of trial of the double-blind study (DB EOT), the OLE Baseline, OLE Week 24, and OLE Week 48, showed a worsening during the drug holiday. However, a consistent improvement was observed during the extension phase when patients resumed ANAVEX(R)2-73 treatment.

Yea, once again, another Anavex drug failure. I'll be hoping for more like this in the future.

First, disease- and drug-related things got better when people with Parkinson’s Disease Dementia (PDD) were taking blarcamesine. Then, because of Covid-19 factors, the trial was interrupted and people couldn't take the drug for a period, the "drug holiday" period. Lo and behold! Things started to go bad for them. Can you imagine that?

Then, the trial was resumed. People enrolled in the trial started taking blarcamesine once again. What do you supposed happened. Can you imagine? The symptoms of PDD began to subside. Who'da thought?

Now, if blarcamesine accurately were a successful treatment for PDD one would have expected the following real results. During the first phase of the trial, when people were getting the drug, it should have begun to suppress the symptoms of PDD. Then, when they went off the drug, symptoms should have resumed. The drug wasn't present to work its therapeutic efficacies. Then, finally, and definitively, when the drug was resumed, symptoms once again, a second time, should have subsided.

If the drug actually worked, all of that should have actually happened, right?

May the reader epistemologically discern the matter. Epistemology is the nature and study of knowledge, facts. There are those who have already determined that the "knowledge," the facts revealed in this report show that blarcamesine is not an effective treatment for PDD.

In the same manner, it was once pronounced that the earth can't possibly rotate around the sun. The sun comes up each day, goes across the sky, sets, and comes back around the next day. The plain facts show that the earth is fixed in space and the moon and sun circle around it. Plain as day; same as the plain things of this blarcamesine failure in people suffering from PDD. Sordid bloke that I am, I'm hoping for and anticipating similar failures for other CNS diseases with blarcamesine.
