STS, I agree that Hikma’s original release constituted infringement, but I don’t know that it made a big difference.

Our whole healthcare delivery system is so botched that statements on a label don’t seem to matter. Insurers should know what indication drugs are approved for but they always gravitate to the cheaper generics to save money, not to mention that prescriptions do not have the indication written on them.

Then you have docs, pharmacies, and state govt’s switching scripts to generics without thought/knowledge about patents or skinny labels.
