Been in the mkt for 40+ years. I have seen this before. Mr X has a margin account that after a while allows him to put things on margin. As his equity grows, he pulls money OUT. Puts it into a cash account to gamble. Oops main stock looses equity. Gotta sell, but what to sell. Sells the gamble stock to meet primary account. Seen it happen.
