Can you get a physician to request some [blarcamesine] and register a small observational trial of his/her patients?

Well, that's exactly what I will attempt to arrange. I'm in infrequent contact with a leading HSP researcher at a major university hospital, and he and his team should do or direct the first Phase I trial of blarcamesine for HSP.

But I doubt that funding can be found to run even a short Phase I HSP trial of blarcamesine until it has been approved for Rett syndrome. When that happens the drug's ability to optimize GABA levels and facilitate normalized muscle control will be obvious. Subsequent trialing the drug in HSP patients will be conspicuously obvious; to everyone who knows anything about both Rett and HSP; the entire community of rare-disease researchers. Blarcamesine for HSP will be a no-brainer.
