Anyone CAN short penny stocks... it just makes ZERO sense for retail because of the insane cost... and only an idiot would try it unless a crap stock really ran like into the dollars!

Here is the point... the ALPS short position in GTII:
1) Is not naked
2) Is fully disclosed and appears in the twice monthly FINRA short total

And with regard to DBMM... THERE IS ONLY AN ITSY BITSY REPORTED SHORT POSITION!

There are NO parallels between GTII and DBMM regarding Alpine with regard to a short position!

PERIOD! END OF STORY!
