Looks like former Freddie Mac CEO Mr. Don Layton has had a change of heart. Glad to see him providing such a detailed analysis of what's going on, the options and his preferred recommendation - spoiler - it's to reduce the capital requirements to a level in line with the actual risks that Fannie and Freddie operate in.
