Are you on an Aetna Medicare Advantage plan? My plan only has Brand Vascepa on the formulary. I intercepted an attempt by the pharmacy to give me IPE and had them switch to Vascepa. In the meantime the pharmacy had submitted the IPE to Aetna and they sent me a notice saying they’d pay just this one time. Haven’t had trouble (yet) getting Vascepa covered.
