There's actually a third possibility: that some of us on this board are activist investors who like to hold management accountable and ask tough questions rather than just blindly giving management a pass, burying our heads in the sand, and assuming all is well. Particularly when management has a demonstrated track record of missing its own deadlines, missing key goals/milestones, and providing blatantly false statements about commercialization.
