How much was the settlement - it wasn't a material event to the 13 companies.
The PUBLIC settlement announcement was right after Cox case was abruptly settled in the second day of the court.
There is NO REASON or JUSTIFICATION for trying so hard and for so long to hide the complete settlement activities in the court if the total settlement was for only $125M!
Even the court information is clearly showing that NOT all settlement information is public! This information has been posted by longuoip on this board MANY TIMES so far.
If the main settlement was hidden from the public as suggested in the court records already and posted by longuoip, then the defendants do not need to even have to make a note in the material event section of their financials.
The good question should be WHY other settlement activities are hidden if the total settlement amount was just $125M?
Why doesn't the stock have any value?
Because Carter decided to delist the stock so he doesn't have to deal with the shareholders and their share of the settlement... after he allowed them to buy millions of shares of the company.
