Well, in spite of how traceable BTC/crypto can be, the CCP apparently still consider it so dangerous to their currency that they would rather choose to forego all this free income tax. Somehow for them, the income is just not worth exposing their Yuan to crypto...communists who don't want to collect taxes???

Residents are generally subject to China individual income tax (IIT) on their worldwide income. Non-residents are generally taxed in China on their China-source income only (see the Residence section for more information). An individual is taxed in China on one's income by category.
