Crypto doesn't cut out the middle man, it just keeps you from knowing who he is. If BTC goes up a bunch, and "satoshi" becomes the richest "man" in the world, you just made him all his middle man transaction fees without him even having to lift a finger. "He" has automated the process. Now imagine "satoshi" is actually just all the member banks of the federal reserve and then tell me how great that sounds.
