the flawed technology is Intel/Ayar/Rnvs MRR's not LWLG!!!!

Intel CEO not talking Photonics because Intel MRRs are a million miles from commercial feasibility!!!!

(BTW, KCC sent me a Web Capture from a white paper showing Polymers to be the solution to fix MRRs TWDS problems!!! See post #133150)

https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=171232988

Plain & simple, LWLG is the ONLY true next Gen solution!!!!

LWLG can produce more units using one small Foundry and one Customer than Intel produced in all of 2022!!!

LWLG already has Operational PDKs at 4 Foundries, and is currently working with 7 Foundries in 2023!!!!

2022 ASM Lebby talks Competition at the 16 min marker and Slide 20 lays out in columns the attributes of all of the Industry's Product offerings and compares the technical specifications of LWG to all the competition out there!!! Note that from Left to Right there are Columns for each of the Competitors, and then at the far right last 3 columns are for the 3-Prongs of LWLG's Business Model Products

Pay close attention to the technical specifications and you will see LWLG is TONS THE BEST by comparison to all the rest in terms of Voltage, Insertion Loss, Power Consumption, Relative Size, Stability, Compatibility with Foundries, and Requiring/Not requiring a Power hungry Driver Chip!!!

Check it out for yourself!!!!

LWLG is truly TONS THE BEST!!!!!!

it is fact that Intel/Ayar are partnering on MRR development, so if silicon MRR were anywhere near commercial ready then certainly you would be able to find Intel touting it right?

but you can't, and they won't, because it will NEVER be commercially viable!!!

and that's the TRUTH, prove me wrong ted, find where Intel touts a commercial ready MRR, this is why you'll never find it >>>

Intel/Ayar, use silicon MRR technology which won't cut it, silicon tops out in the 30-40GHz speed zone hence why they are using 25Gb MRR's and stacking tons of then together, this is a very complex solution and extremely hard to control OVER TIME which means RT is likely to have high failure rates

Ayar works with Intel, to-date their focus is on the silicon MRR, but we have known since the Intel Lab days (Dec 2020) that there are some BIG problems with these modulators

1) they need temperature control I/C's for each MRR
2) they need to control very narrow bits of the frequency scale at small tolerances which are extremely hard to keep stabilized
3) in general this technology is too complicated and likely will not endure long term RT

However, as Investors learned for the 3rd party Polariton paper issued at OFC 2022, if they applied LWLG's technology to the MRR (very similar to Polaritons Racetrack modulator) then they could SIMPLY achieve world class results like Polariton did!!

If you review the COMPARATIVE results of Polariton's LWLG secret sauce racetrack (MRR) vs the Intel/Ayar silicon MRR you will see that LWLG/Polariton were TONS THE BEST!!!

So bottom line, yes it is quite likely that LWLG technology will be enabling Ayar/Intel's technology, currently that would all be under the wraps of NDA's of course
