I, and my family, have just taken to wearing masks anytime we're inside with others we don't know. After three years, it's become habit. None of us have even gotten a cold in the last three years. My anti-vax and don't-tread-on-me friends are sure it's just luck. Some of them have become permanently unlucky.
We're currently fighting global warming with electric cars and solar panels as if this Don Quixote expression of right-minded direction makes a difference. Of course it doesn't, it just makes us feel better. I don't have an answer but I will continue to wear a mask, get vaccinated against the latest strain of pandemic X and avoid crowds of average Joes. There is a reason billionaires are working to get off the planet.
