I'm guessing what I said. I'm a business broker in Florida for 25+ years. When a business is sold from one to another the landlord always wants both seller & buyer to stay on the lease if the lease is still moving forward. ie 5 or 10 yr lease sold in middle of the term which is usually the case so both parties are on the hook. If Illegals space was let's say a Hallmark store being changed to pizza, they both still are on the hook. Landlord just wants his $$.

I've been that location. My wife & I ate a pizza about a year ago. We live near Tampa so almost a day's drive to get to Lauderhill, near Ft. Lauderdale.
