If Amarin made a revised attempt to penetrate the USA... well, that's what a big pharma is going to do!!! A big pharma will go head to head against the generic companies and crush a lot of them through relationships with doctors, insurers, etc. Per is totally clueless on the USA and its abysmal to say the least. Likewise BP doesn't have to build out sales units in the UK. I think Amarin hasn't formed any further partnerships because they too know they want to maximize a buy-out.
