All - we dont have transparency to Sarissa’s trade ledger. But, as i have explained numerous times, holdings reported on 13F and beneficial ownership reported in 13D are not the same. For example, a fund can engage in a total return swap on AMRN. Fund receives the performance of AMRN shares and pays a financing charge. Position is marked to market daily based on the performance of AMRN shares (think of buying stock on margin and related margin calls). If the receiver of AMRN performance doesnt have the right to vote or dispose of the shares, it isnt reportable on 13F. If the receiver has the ability to vote or dispose of the shares, then it is reported on 13D and not F. You shouldnt rely on 13F reporting to determine the total economic interest of an investor. Rely on the 13D.
