Blarcamesine posted that AVXL is 36.5% Tutes owned. That at today's price is just shy of $300,000,000.00. I would say that is pretty close to institutional sponsorship. Just under one/third of a $billion dollars. Lets say half is index fund ownership, then its $150 million of institutional speculative ownership.
Assuming 60% market penetration into just the Alzheimers Disease market with a $9410/year (per patient) drug (which would be a $799 per month per prescription cost) there would be $36 billion dollars of annual revenue which would likely translate to a share price of $1,250.00, assuming Share Price is 3 times revenue, (a low multiple).
But here we are at $10 bucks/share. And mostly just sitting there since Thanksgiving.
But $1250 future share price/$10 current share price is an odds ratio of 125 to 1.
Is Wall Street Institutional Ownership for a "likely possible maybe" like AVXL trading at a 125 to 1 payout normally?
Or is it the anticipated time to payout derating it down to 125 to 1?
1250/43 is 29 times or an odds ratio of 29 to 1. $43 is the current collective analyst target.
I would love someone to correct my toted up figures.
Is Anavex so fishy that it trades at 1/125th of its future possible value? Is that normal?
