The possibility of a buyout is not farfetched. Much of the early discussion about next steps was about the possibility of a buyout for L rather than partnership, with NWBO or it’s successor keeping and developing the Direct indications. That discussion moved in the direction of a private placement with a partnership off in the distance. Which is unbelievably bad news.

Again, it’s not beneath Linda and Les to send out false flags to even warrant holders, just to keep everything under wraps given the sensitivities. The logic in terms of events or lack thereof — such as the absence of first steps to form a viable operating biotech — is still in favor of a partnership or buyout.

Boynton and LG are approaching 80 and JJ is 83, with LP looking like a spring chicken in comparison at 68. You’d think at this point they’d want to monetize this asset.
