What you describe is LEGAL short selling. I have done that a few times (not ELTP). What the poster named trend-setter posted a video about was illegal naked short selling. If you have the time, watch the video. It is certainly not something a retail investor could do. It is interesting, possibly true, and very illegal. It is basically selling counterfeit shares that do not exist. In any case, it probably has nothing to do with Elite.
