If we believe that everyone is corrupt in this story then we are done.
It would only take one or two people in positions of influence to poke the stones at the base of the pyramid to start something.
Chile will be going through changes with a new leadership mentality. Perhaps somebody needs to take a closer look at the past corruptions.

Barrick's legal department wrote most of the judgements at home and sent them off to the courts in Chile to put in affect.
Ask Emery she will confirm it !
I have always questioned how and when is the reality of the Lopehandia group of merry little claimers getting the title margins annotations in the first place based on mineral claims and not salt and nitrates.
The sale by Villar is where all this got really screwed up and is at the heart of the matter. The real corruption starts there.

Barrick has major problems with costs and mine design as well as environmental issues based on the location and new public power as well as awareness of those apposing these projects.
Ask the natives down the hill!

Sometimes leaving it alone for a couple hundred years could work.
