With the number of fires caused by lithium batteries soaring across the U.S., firefighters and other experts say the training needed to fight them effectively is lagging in many places.

I think the focus of the article is wrong. It seems to more about the need for better training rather than realizing that lithium batteries are the problem that need to be replaced. EM fields also cause lithium batteries to spontaneously combust either by overcharge/discharging them or by encouraging dendrite growth.

Could it be that there is a strategy to distract people away from looking at the basic data?
Is all this an exercise to create more and more forum verbiage to drown out any serious discussion of evidence?
