I voted, yes. I voted to have Denner representation on the board, but I did not vote to give him total control. Maybe it's a case of the devil we know?

I don't think I've seen much discussion on this board about the very real option of not siding with either side entirely. Just what seems to be an orchestrated bandwagon to make it seem that Denner is Jesus, or Muhammad Ali, or Babe Ruth, or Tom Brady.

I felt it prudent to hedge in the event that he just wants to force a quick sale at any price that's double or more what he paid for his shares.

I also factored in the fact that Amarin is trying to salvage the company after the Judge Du ruling, which essentially was the company's life changing moment. And I was impressed by the turnaround the company made in the second half of last year.

Most of Denner's argument for control seemed to be based on criticism of Amarin rather than suggestions on what he could do to improve the company's prospects. It reminded me of an Advanced Psychology class I took in college, where the professor arranged for a loud and bombastic speaker to make a pitch to the class, only to be followed by a very nerdy fellow who spoke facts in a monotone. We all loved the loudmouth and thought he was persuasive. But when we analyzed the written words of both, we discovered that the loudmouth knew nothing and that the nerd knew it all.
