mrm; disagree, why?
https://www.thestreet.com/quote/MDCO
Some simple math;
Amarin shares 403.83M (OS) round up to ~ 404M
MEDCO shares round up to ~80M (OS)

404M/80M = 5.05 about 1/5 the shares of Amarin right?
MEDCO sale price per share ~ $85/ 5.05 = $16.83per share.
$16 dollars has already been seen and gossiped about on this board, so it's not out of the question. Especially if there's a bidding war.

Add-ins; Vascepa is a much better (efficacy & Safety wise), cheaper and is not an injection. It can be combined with other drugs. It can be taken with other drugs safely. It is transportable (capsule) vs. scheduling a Doctors appointment (injection 2x annually). Ongoing studies, BRAVE in particular. I feel in my gut that Vascepa has really helped my cognitive health (clinical study of 1). For those who are on Vascepa it works. On and on....

Take aways; We're in a recession, people can't afford Vascepa. It obvious Insurers won't cover the drug. EU reimbursements. All biggies for sure.

Question: Why did Novartis buy MEDCO in the first place? Has Novartis made any profit on LEQVIO? PCSK9 (Inclirsiran)?
