Pretty sure there is another force at work in the demo that the ActiPatch interacts with.

If the bouncing beads motion was totally caused by the ActiPatch they would not need the black box just a clear plastic container against a dark background.

I use the AM radio method if I want to confirm that a device is functional.

Tune an AM radio to static, with the device on move it towards the rear of the radio, at about 3-4 inches you should hear a high pitched humming sound cutting through the static, it will get louder the closer you get to the radio. This is the 27.1 MHz ActiPatch signal.
