Theroc, Good information. How do you square that with lightwave logic dropping off of the membership list for the OIF? Do you think the group really doesn’t accomplish much, it was too early for Lightwave to get involved, or something else?

I’m not trying to taunt I’m really curious what do people think about that. This is the largest optical networking forum in the world and lightwave joined it saying it would be really important, only to just drop off within a couple of years. Why is that not an indication that their message re standards wasnt being well received?

My philosophy is to just be honest and balanced, and let the market decide if it agrees or not.
