I was clearly right about the shell and am right about this too. They didn't have to request the restrictive legend be removed for this share cancellation to be filed.

And sometimes people file a lawsuit hoping to be successful purely on procedural grounds. For example, do you know how Sharp won his original lawsuit against Goff, which is what resulted in him eventually being granted custodianship?

He filed a lawsuit against a pump and dump newsletter, and named all of the stocks promoted by the newsletter as defendants. If any of the companies contested in court, they were dropped from the case because there was no evidence against them. However, the California law gave up to $1,000 in damages per email . So Sharp won a default judgment against any of the companies that didn't contest, with the amount dictated by the number of emails. Whether he could collect those damages is a separate issue, but that is why he was owed $55k (which increased to almost $90k with interest) by Goff... specifically because Calasse didn't show up to contest in court.

If someone can't tell that a shell is a shell, can you trust anything else that they say?
