I disagree.
No ideas are dumb and I feel it is both insulting and dismissive of you to state that.

In brainstorming, problem solving etc all ideas are presented. All ideas are considered good. No employee rolls their eyes, insults, dismisses, laughs or mocks another employees idea.

AGAIN they are all recorded and considered good.

Then they are evaluated, one by one, in regards to do-ability, cost, return, feasibility etc.

Some are eliminated. Some move on to round 2 for further analysis.

But at no time is any idea considered bad or dumb
