Rolen was a guy war always loved for me. Too much value on his defense. I rather have Jeff kent up in a big spot over scott rolen anyday of the week. Kent off the ballot inexplicabe as one of the best hitting 2b of all time and rolen who had 5 100 rbi season, who I admit is borderline for me gets in.

I believe Jeff Kent will be a guy that the player correct the wrongs of the writters at some point. Being a slave to war, which I think is a valid stat. But kent had a stretch of 8 100 RBI season from 2b in a period of 9 year in his career. How many 2b can say that.

As for other Helton like rolen for me is another borderline HOF candidate, who will probably get in next year. Helton hit about 60 points higher at home his career and diDn't hit 400 homeruns at 1b. and only had 5 100 rbi seasons. He is borderline like rolen for me, but my guess is he will get in next year.

Billy Wagner- Should probably also get in next year. Just because your not Mariano doesn't mean that should be the standard to get into HOF. Wagner was more dominant as a closer than hoffman yet hoffman is in. I rather have wagner close out the game, and this is coming from a mets fan who had a few not so great moments with wagner. In my opinion a no doubt HOF.

Andruw Jones- Was one of the best defensive CF I ever seen in his prime. He also hit 434 homers. If Scott rolen and Todd Helton Get in this guy should he was a better overall player in his prime.

Gary Sheffield Is a HOF but he will not likely get in.

Carlos Beltran- despite the sign stealing stuff, in my opinion is a HOF, he was a excellent player, and one clutch postseason player.

One Guy who I'm finally happy to see take a jump is bobby Abreu, how this guy just has 15% after fourth year is beyond me. this guy has either 100 rbis or 100 runs scored in 11 straight years in his career. Yes 11 straight years, if the idea as a baseball team is to score runs, this guy was a huge part of that gfor 11 years in the middle of his career. I know people don't think of Abreu and say he is a hof, never been overly wowed, but if you score 100 runs or 100 rbi in 11 straight year you in my opinion have to be a hall of famer. I get compiler, but 100 runs or 100 rbis is a hof season and he has 11 of them. All is just my opinion of course.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
