At the 4:45 mark he explains and says CHS precursor is cost effective !! Hes explaining why CHS is good for the ALD process for semi conductors but the scalability and cost effectiveness applys to scale up for CHS no matter where its going to be the base material for Batteries , semi conductors , LEDs etc.. Thats a huge accomplishment. They did say the CHIPS acts funding would be to refine the process to scale CHS
Coretec must have found through their new process for CHS got the the price down significantly since Ramez Elgammel made this statement in the presentation .
In Ramez Elgammels presentation here a year ago he shows that CHS for one is scalable as we know and that it is cost effective at the 4:45 min. mark . Also on the last page of the presentation he states why it is less expensive to produce and it had to do with the elimination inpart of a purification step other silanes have to go through .
It was a major accomplishment to get a cost effective process to scale CHS as he stated . Thats obviously one the most important factors .
