Do_you remember_Sorcia Minerals_our Maricunga_competition?
https://batteriesnews.com/sorcia-minerals-lithium-salar-maricunga-chile/

Well it appears that Sorcia Minerals is now preparing to spend US$200,000,000 on building a new shiny lithium hydroxide conversion plant in France, which would start operating in 2026 https://www.portalminero.com/wp/daniel-layton-ceo-de-ensorcia-group-chile-es-un-gigante-dormido-del-litio-que-necesita-despertar/ note: we (ie NewCo or LPI or whatever we're called now) don't have a lithium hydroxide plant or even a lithium chloride carbonate plant.

So now you may be asking yourself, but how can our neighbor Chilean junior lithium miner Sorcia (probably partnering with SIMCO) mine lithium chloride skipping evaporation pools in Chile, package it up neatly in Chile, send it to France for further "concentration" into high-priced premium lithium hydroxide and final sale in Europe after out-maneuvering SQM & Albemarle (both from the Dark Side) while LPI can't even get off the toilet to mine anything much less wipe itsownass? Well Bunky, the answer is competent/dynamic/innovative management... Sorcia has competent/dynamic/innovative management and LPI does not have competent/dynamic/innovative management.
