Ok.....but I'm talking about people wanting to Buy.......and there's apparently not enough of them to provide adequate support on the Bid. The Bid represents 'Demand'..........fwifw

By the same token, shares on the offer represent 'Supply' ......if the Bid gets 'gobbled up' as you put it.....well that means there's a lot of guys wanting to sell......and if it gets hit when there's a LOT of bid support.......well that means whoever is wacking it has a shit ton of shares to unload.

In general, you can test for large sellers by putting 'bait' so to speak on the bid. Put up a nice chunk...and if it gets hit, you got a large seller.......the 'bait' has to be big enough to make it worthwhile for the seller to hit.

If the 'bait' isn't big enough, the seller won't hit it......cause he doesn't want to crash the price too hard.......he's waiting for a big enough buyer.....and then he'll wack to him.
