Jess. I’m interested in how this plays out .
There is an obvious need for better LN drugs .
I thought the early data I had seen from KZR was better then AUPH , but they seem to be behind schedule in running a larger trial .
AUPH mgt could do what Amgen did with Repatha …. drastically cut prices in exchange for wider / easier insurance coverage ( which is why I’m not short )

I’m also interested in the group psychology of these boards . Group think … a reinforcing echo chamber develops that makes individuals feel confident in their position because others have the same position
Anyone arguing the opposing view pt is condemned or placed on ignore

Some fall in love with a stock and will never sell no matter what
The AMRN board is an example of that where some were demanding $40 a share as a buyout price late 2019 , could never sell any and have rode it all the way down to where it is today … under $2
This board shows a similar trend with imho unrealistic buyout expectations

Occasionally I’ll find informed opinions on both boards that make me reconsider my position

If I thought some BP would buy AUPH I’d take a position but so far nothing I’ve read here or elsewhere has convinced me that is likely to happen anytime soon
Co still has a lot of cash on hand . Ceo is pulling down a huge paycheck. Co could still make a deal with insurers like Amgen did … so maybe they just plod alone for now
