China is going to be pushing for more influence in Afghanistan and Pakistan from what I’ve read so they can gain more access/control of the Arabian Sea. Which they’re One Belt One Road initiative really needs to do what they want in Africa.
China will be very busy in 2023 also I think that’s part of why the projections for energy use are coming in hot for both the US and China in 2023. Very busy year for both countries/economies.
Of course we will have to see this recession and banking situation first but in the background things should be quite busy.
