If you want to reply to a post that is on forum in Private >
click on the post to open > just above the post you should see Private
click on Private and you should see Private Message to that poster

If you just want to send a Private message "not as Private reply to a post"
click on the user name of the individual and a box for their user Profile pops up
on the left side of that profile box you should see under Alias Born "Send a Private Message"

I am also showing you as having Premium Membership
