Agree w/this going fwd. We will keep tripping over CNS disease links. I have read of convincing research which shows direct links between perio-dental gum disease to RA where bacteria traveled via the nerves (as in conducting elements) directly to other affected body parts-bone joints, knees-shoulders-hands. I am certain the links are real and causal. (long story which I will not elaborate) ...it is all true(IMO). I am living proof that RA and periodontal infections can be transmitted via CNS nerve tissues. The human nerve fibers act as conductors to every part of the human body from a part/link to the brain. (google to locate supportive med papers). A useful analogy to consider might be : Just as computer microcircuits utilize very fine conducting elements (fractions of a conductors physical micron or by subatomic flex-charge) on the (Sio2 insulator) surface of semiconductor discrete components to perform some complex integrated function , so does the human CNS use nerve defined paths by nerve fibers bundles to communicate (good-harmful stimulus/infections) . This connection will eventually become causative in some CNS. The CNS nerves act as micro CNS conductors of bacteria and other micro bioagents.

So WHAT you say? Well, IMO, we (AVXL) are leading a discovery process which will eventually show how the CNS functions are (virtually linked) as an integrated cross linked system of functions and fiber cellular links(some more direct and profound than others). IMO, we are on the medical point, w/no one else even close to the AVXL UPSTREAM MOA which Dr.M. and the team begun to demonstrate. The problem of course can be, this is an ongoing discovery process and they always take time.

This work will peel the onion of CNS diseases, one layer at a time IMO. The biggest MOA breakthroughs are about to be Bio(med) physically demonstrated w/AD -PDD-RSD but they are only the beginning. IMO. (it's all about BIO-CNS virtually linked systems and how they integrate and behave functionally).
