Not necessarily….those references I found were specifically targeted on dental implants. I found no obvious patents but many companies don’t patent/ publish their technology.

Separate issue..zirconium, titanium and vanadium have melt points in the 3200-3400F range which creates questions on how they can be molded in dies that melt at 2200F? Obviously our partners are able to process 60% zirconium in 106 without reaching that high a temperature so a question is moot.

Eutectic alloys are mixtures that can melt at temperature below the melt points of the components but I haven’t seen references that this is something that is in the optimization matrix. The problem is I can’t figure how they can injection mold something like the 106 alloy without using incredible pressures. As I said before…80% of the technology is in the process, not the alloy composition.

Li has a corner on the process technology…no question or debate.
