many traders in the OTC get caught up in the hype and get greedy and forget to take at least some profits along the way if the opportunity presents itself.
Some stocks actually start out with good intentions but if things go sour then the company sometimes will jump into survival mode and sharholders will get hurt

I look at almost all of my stocks as a possible pump and dump ...or "a soft scam" and try to get in and out before the damage is done.

having said all that I'm still a "stuckholder" in quite a few
