I blame Amarin for this lack of education.

When Vascepa first came out with the MARINE label, they were shouting it from the rooftops. Problem is, the indication was to reduce trigs. And unfortunately, that has been imprinted in the minds of doctors everywhere.

Fast forward to REDUCE-It, and just about the time they started gaining traction with the new indication, they lost the patents. Once they stopped marketing, that was the nail in the coffin. So for many doctors around the country, they still see Vascepa as a high-trig drug.

So until something changes...nothing is going to change.

IMO, the only way to get out from under this is to release MND-2119 with a "new" formulation, and then market the shit out of it.
