Marjac, Agreed. We have no idea what is written out in the settlement. We never will. (Probably) Even without that knowledge I think there are some reasonable conclusions that can be drawn from the settlement.
As you said Health Net was at risk of exposure because the suit was not dismissed. I would assume that by the same legal reasoning, other insurance companies would be at risk if they are inappropriately covering a patented indication.
It will be interesting to see what changes occur in the 2023 formulary.
If nothing else this should strengthen Amarin's negotiation position with other payors.
