Gak: Hyperthreading is a way the CPU splits a problem into two and deals with it simultaneously, allegedly faster than sequentially. But a top video magazine tested the HT (hyper threading) and said the CPU intense video processing actually went faster if HT were turned off. I am running a 3.06G Pentium with HT right now and it seems plenty fast. I do some image processing and it is really fast. Hope this helps--Blue
