Commercially, this is what SHMP is up against. Has anyone ever watched shrimp trawlers off shore? They work mostly at night and into morning daylight hours and then shut down and anchor. You can watch them from the shore sometimes, other times they are farther off shore. When we go fishing off shore in our private owned boats we would always follow them in the morning because they will "dump" all of the other fish-crab-and what ever isn't shrimp. Attracts game fish. In the mean time they are dumping there catch into the holds, most are alive, HUNDREDS of lbs at a time full of shrimp. It's amazing how much they catch as you watch. VS A few ponds that are supposed to be expensive to maintain and operate. With unknown amounts of shrimp that come no where close to the trawler catch. Just throwing out another perspective for comparison instead of PR's and rumors.
