If you’ve ever watched Soccer , then you know the act that goes on if someone is elbowed or tripped and he/she falls to the ground rolling around in agony trying to convince the referee that the offender should receive a penalty. One way the league could get rid of this fakery would be to put in place a system where the complainer would or would not get satisfaction but aside from that…the one rolling on the ground would have to sit out the game for 2 minutes just to verify that he/she is okay. That is not a penalty to the injured player , who could return to the game in 2 minutes or more……but it would most definitely cut down on the amount of these kind of false mishaps.
On the Boards on iHub if one wanted to get a post removed you can do so with 3 clicks of the mouse and then forget about it.
On other sites 2 clicks or more takes you to the type of report, gives you 11 choices of “type of report” , 3rd click to choose the type….. then requires you to give a few additional details….then after you entered the reason you click “report” to file your complaint.
You cannot send a report without adding at least a brief explanation.
I bet if iHub made it just a tiny bit more difficult like that, then the number of questionable and uneccesary reports would drop considerably.
