Sleven - From the article:

Quote: "At London Medical, we believe that if regular omega 3 fatty acids are needed to be prescribed to lower the triglyceride, then why not substitute these for icosapentyl ethyl as this has been shown to improve the risk of cardiovascular events? The use of other agents or LDL targets should not limit its use."

Really? what's high trig's according to this narrow minded thinker? Plaque begins to build from birth. By age 50, everyone has plaque build up. Problem is that by age 50, we begin to see diseases occur with greater frequency as a consequence of aging. We also can't control for lifestyle. Just to look at ones trigs as a snapshot in time can't tell you anything clearly as to how one's vascular characteristics will change over time. In my opinion, this Doctor is like many other doctors who can't think outside the boxes they have made themselves prisoners of. But hey, I sure no he has a lot of company, and they're not even doctors, but like to pretend like they are. Look at Tedros, Director General of the WHO, who has zero scientific background, and he's known to be a criminal in his country of origin. Who thought?
