No. I doubt there are even enough shares available for them to short down here to make it worth their while. Over the past year the most shares short at any time were roughly 2M. If they shorted 2M shares and the company went to $0 they would make $500k. Definitely not worth the risk for them.

Plus they "agreed" to not short the stock as part of the purchase agreement. I don't know the legality of that agreement but I would assume they honor that because if word got around that they don't not many companies are going to make any deals with them.
