From amstocks posted yesterday re: MF article---really like this person's postings--excellent logic and reasoning and he (she) knows his stuff !!! Very credible !!
MF had prior hit pieces on Anavex. This one is a 'faint praise' type article. Given their past hit pieces, it shows a bit of a change.

MF is one of the publications for which some of the writers seem to work hand in hand with short traders and even those who don't appear to be weak on research. Therefore, I don't place any credence with it with respect to judging any stock, company or future prospects.

Since faint praise IS an upgrade from the prior state of 'veiled hostility', I don't think it will have any negative impact on the stock - or much impact at all on the future.

In fact, I'm fairly sure that the price of the stock will trend up from here. With the share price so low and great news behind it and more coming in the future, Anavex simply is not a good short target and most people who are short will go to some other company. Note, short interest news is out of date and does not show the actual current short interest. Nor does it show very much the impact of day and swing trading.
