Hi JB, I'm gojng to agree and disagree with you....

First off all there is the context in which is was wrote....To me the whole gun issue is another wedge issue for the parties....Take suicide out of the statistics and you're down around 30k gun deaths...And like Bulls indifference to drug deaths, I could care less if criminals are shooting each other over,, mostly drugs..

Fentanyl is produced mostly by the cartels now, they get the chemicals from over seas....Then smuggled mostly across the southern border..Big business and treated like one..They are counterfeiting pharmaceutical drugs now with it...Its not just powders to inject...Lets just say they don't use the quality control standards of the pharma companies.... Someone who thinks they are taking a couple of zanax may well be risking their life.....

Cartels buy their guns from us...

Cartels are the biggest human traffickers...They now get the big bucks from the people and pay the coyote.

I'd like to see all guns go away,,,,,but I'm not going to start a civil war over it..By far most owners are perfectly responsible...

I know damn well why they come here (I would to) how they are treated (more like slaves) for cheap labor that skirts taxes, workmans comp, no overtime, long hours, low pay and no benefits.......

But its like so many issues that's hard to actually debate even with vast experience on the subject

Politicians and parties want bandaids and not reach down and solve the problems...

If it was up to me, I'd listen to the Border Patrol on how to secure the border then do it...Declare Amnesty and set limits like we do with with all our immigration... Corps and companies would be forced to treat them with respect and good pay, the playing field would be evened out for all involved...
