Absolutely Frobinso. Eindhoven in the Netherlands ( the hometown of Philips Electronics out of which NXP was born) and where ASML is located is aiming to become a leading global hub for photonics. Many photonic companies are located in or near the Netherlands: Smart Photonics, Effect Photonics, IMEC ( another old Philips relative), Lionix just to name a few. Photondelta is coordinating these efforts on behalf of the industry. How comes many people in and around Eindhoven including members of Photondelta own Lightwave shares?
