I am curious about this claim:

To build the vaccine, researchers took samples of patients' tumors and healthy tissue. After analyzing the samples to decode their genetic sequence and isolate mutant proteins associated only with the cancer, that information was used to design a tailor-made cancer vaccine.

How exactly do they do this and how thorough is the process?
If they miss some cancer antigens the vaccine will kill a bunch of the cancer cells but not all of them. Those still living cells with the missed target cancer antigens will reproduce and the cancer will return with a vengeance. We have seen this happen with other treatments like this.
That is the beauty of DCVAX. It is the dendritic cells the identify the cancer antigens and then alert the bodies entire immune system to target them. This is a process that has been honed via millions of years of evolution.
